By creating an account or purchasing any course or subscription on MarCert Global ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, students, instructors, organisation administrators, and any other users.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. MarCert Global reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where false information is detected.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account, allow others to use your login, or use another person's credentials. Any activity conducted under your account is your sole responsibility. Report suspected unauthorised access to support@marcertglobal.com immediately.
All assessments must be completed independently and honestly. The use of AI tools, third-party assistance, screen-sharing services, or any form of cheating during exams is strictly prohibited. Professional and Expert-level examinations are proctored via webcam. Evidence of misconduct will result in immediate disqualification, certificate revocation, and account suspension without refund. MarCert Global employs proctoring software that monitors screen activity, webcam feed, and environmental audio.
Certificates issued by MarCert Global are valid for 3 years from the date of issuance, in accordance with STCW renewal conventions. Certificates may not be altered, reproduced, or misrepresented. Each certificate carries a unique SHA-256 verification hash that is publicly verifiable at https://marcertglobal.com/verify. MarCert Global reserves the right to revoke any certificate if evidence of fraud or exam misconduct is discovered.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). By providing payment details, you authorise MarCert Global to charge your payment method for the subscription amount. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Pay-per-course purchases are non-transferable between users.
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; no partial-month refunds are provided. Annual subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of initial purchase if no courses have been accessed. Pay-per-course purchases are non-refundable once the course has been started. Refund requests must be submitted to support@marcertglobal.com.
All course content, assessments, AI-generated materials, branding, logos, and software on this Platform are the exclusive intellectual property of MarCert Global. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, sell, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written consent. Screenshots or recordings of exam questions are strictly prohibited.
MarCert Global provides certifications for educational and professional development purposes. We do not guarantee employment outcomes. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
